Isco shines while the end of BBC comes near

Por LOR

Midfielder Isco Alarcón showed off with a free-kick goal, the first he scores in La Liga, and an assist in Real Madrid's 2-1 victory over Malaga. It seems that the player’s performance vs. Argentina did not go unnoticed, as his posterior statement on his regularity as Real Madrid player. Zidane took note and Isco has proven his worth.

Getting the three points against a team on the verge of the descent was nothing short of mandatory for Zinedine Zidane's team. For Isco and Karim Benzema, the opportunity to shine with their own light, assuming the role of weight players in the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo, who continues with his dosing program and has saved the trip by technical decision for the fourth time, after missing the visits to Leganés, Espanyol and Las Palmas.

We all witnessed that the malagueño took advantage of it. Isco played a special match against his team, since, predictably, it will be the last time he visits La Rosaleda in a long time. Malaga occupies the last place of the classification to 14 points of permanence, and if it fails to beat Levante the next day, it will officially consummate its descent to Second Division.

The Spaniard has been a starter in the ten league games that Real Madrid has played against his former team since arriving at the Santiago Bernabéu in 2013, getting eight wins and two draws. But it was not until this Sunday that he managed to make himself present on the scoreboard. And he did it in a way that did not go unnoticed.

A free kick, the first he scores in the league, and the first for Real Madrid since August, when Marco Asensio scored a goal in the same way. He had to ask the turn of Sergio Ramos (who was preparing to make it), something that would not have occurred to him with the presence of Cristiano Ronaldo, the official player for this. And in the absence of the '7', he was also the player with more shots on goal in the white team (two), and with more chances to have created goal, with three in total.

He also put the pass for Casemiro as he scored the second goal of the merengue team, and ultimately was decisive, because an oversight of Jesus Vallejo allowed Málaga, the team less productive in attack in the Spanish First Division, to discount with its goal number 20 in the tournament. Isco had 65 minutes on the court to decide the game and reach the nine goals so far this season, which on the other hand leaves Karim Benzema badly hurt. The French attacker, harshly criticized throughout the campaign for his lack of goal, failed again as "the '9' of Real Madrid."

If there was a match in which he should contribute to the merengue team's scoring quota, it was this. He has just scored five goals in 26 games played in the league and has only given ten passes to goal. The end of BBC is closer.
