Cavs Tyronn Lue abandons the game due to health problems

Por MRod

Sports media have noticed that there is something wrong with Cleveland Cavaliers coach, Tyronn Lue, who has had to abandon some games due to his health. Although the skipper has refused to say anything in that regard, Lebron has acknowledged that his manager leaving games because of an illness affects the team also.

The Cleveland Cavaliers coach, Tyronn Lue, left due to illness the match in which his team beat the Bulls 114-109 in what was the third time this season when the strategist's health prevented him from leading a complete game. With the Cavs up 69-52 at halftime, Lue stayed in the locker room and left the team management to associate coach Larry Drew. "I'm not sure what it is exactly," Drew said when asked about Lue's condition after the game. "I only know that before leaving for the second half, he did not feel well and I thought there was a possibility that he would come out, but he was not well enough to do it, so we had to continue without him".

Lue had to leave a game in which the Cavs fell to the Orlando Magic on February 6 because he was not feeling well. He also lost a game against the Bulls on Dec. 21 with an undisclosed illness and had to stay in the locker room after arriving at the arena and make his appearance before the media.

LeBron James, who registered his triple-double number 15 of the season and 70 of his career (33 points, 12 rebounds, 12 assists) was questioned about whether Lue's health has affected the Cavs this season. "He's the captain of our ship, so, absolutely," James replied. "Obviously we are concerned about his health and that is much more important than basketball. We know that you do everything you need to be healthy, even take more steps to be well. Of all that has happened to us this year, this one (the health of Lue) is one more adversity ".

Nevertheless, James added that he and his teammates are prepared to stay on track when Lue does not feel well. "It's not something that takes us off guard because (Lue) has had health problems for a long time, but when he does not return to the bench, obviously an alarm sounds," James said. "Your health is the most important thing. (Lue) is not going to talk about that, so I do not want to do it either. That's the way he is”. Lue did not talk to the reporters after the game, but he could be seen leaving the dressing room with Drew heading for the bus. Lue, who turns 41 in May, appeared to be in good spirits before the game against the Bulls after being visited outside of the Cavs' locker room by former teammate Dennis Rodman. Health and injuries have affected Cleveland's players, too. Let’s see if the health issues help a bit the Cavs into basketball history.
