Renewal of contracts ... without reason?

Por mayli2017

It is no secret to anyone that the television industry is an aggressive field, where although you are attractive and talented, there will always be an apparent reason for a dismissal or for the non-renewal of a contract. The television network Univisión, for example, suffered a decline in personnel last year.

First, they fired the Cuban William Valdes, who had everything related to social networks, then Johnny Lozada and Alejandro Chabán had gone before.

On the other hand, the Dominican Lourdes Stephen, who after the cancellation of "Salt and Pepper" became part of the cast of "No rolls or taps", also left the chain. A few days ago, the entry of Carlos Calderón into the cast of Despierta América became official, a program that now has the main cast of three Mexicans. In addition to Calderón, there is Alan Tacher and Karla Martínez.

Being a television conductor demands many physical and artistic qualities. However, being a presenter of Spanish television programs such as "Wake up America" and "A New Day" implies having unbreakable nerves and not precisely because of the complex task to keep the smile on your lips and calm before the unexpected situations of live programs.

In this case, indifference is necessary to deal with the stress that causes a threatening dismissal or, a renewal of contract, a term used and abused by human resources and public relations professionals. Although the concrete consequences are for celebrities, the public is also affected and the latest wave of changes has provoked angry protests on social networks.

A few weeks ago, on Telemundo, Venezuelan broadcaster Daniel Sarcos announced to the audience that he was about to end his days on the show and on the channel. He made the decision after accepting the project to produce and animate the lottery in the Dominican Republic, where he already has a successful Sunday program called "He speaks Spanish.".

Despite Sarcos' statements, Telemundo sources revealed to the Nuevo Herald that there is no precise date for it to go off the air. The plan for the replacement of Sarcos, the only man in the program's leadership after Diego Schoening's departure in June 2017, is still in the air.

On the other hand, the alleged substitute is expected to be Marco Antonio Regil, although right now, the Mexican presenter is focused on preparing for the Latin Billboards, which will be his driver along with Gaby Espino, from Las Vegas, on the 26th. April. But Sarcos, who has been accompanied by the awakening for seven years to the audience of "A New Day", is not the only one that leaves the channel. In a similar case is Ana María Canseco, who apart from Don Francisco and Rodner Figueroa, had been the only figure that successfully passed from Univision to Telemundo.

Although Telemundo refused to comment on the issue, a source close to Canseco said that the Mexican driver would leave the program in the coming days and the reason was that she had no contract renewal.
