Killing for pleasure
Social Networks sometimes are a thorn, sometimes a blessing. Any kind of shared post on Facebook or Twitter might become viral, and from that, congratulations might fall to the protagonist of the photo or, if he or she is not lucky enough, might be cursed forever by users. This last is what has happened to Tess Thompson Talley, alias the “Neanderthal”. This American woman traveled to Africa with a purpose: to kill.
Social networks have heard of its consequences and blamed her over and over again. Hunting is not a leisure activity that is very well seen, to begin with, but, if you add that the victim is a very rare species of giraffe, this is the perfect cocktail that will ignite the web. Should these actions be punished by law?
